Euro Trip Day 4: Koln

The fourth morning we start our journey after our breakfast. The hotel did provide breakfast like normal breakfast.

Then we all get on the coach to travel to the town centre. We saw the Treasury Cathedral immediately after we get off the coach!

It was really really ridiculous and amazing!

There was a Christmas market beside the Cathedral!

The one I was holding was Gluwein, a mulled wine where people drink during Christmas. I was feeling a little bit dizzy after I drank that, as I don't want to hold the mug while we were walking, then I drank it fast..... That's why. Its red wine with juices and cinnamon which was very famous not only in Germany. That mug is very cute! The total price for the drink was 5 euro, where 2 is for the wine and 3 is for the mug. If you return the mug, you could get back your 3 euro. That mug was very very cute, then I possessed it... HAHHAHAH

This has a story behind which is about the dwarfs. The dwarfs came out to help the carpenter do his undone works every night but then his curious wife one day set up a trap and discovered the truth. The dwarfs was angry and ran away, so the carpenter have to do his own works.

This is a famous father in 19th century during the world war. People starving due to the world war, they have to steal from others for them to survive. They felt guilty because of that, then this father told them that stealing food for live is forgivable and acceptable. Then people felt less guilty and that's why people loved his so much.

Then we went to a Fragrance museum but we only able to look around the ground floor which is the shop.

These are the original smell from the perfume which smells really citrus. It's so refreshing and I like that actually. But I'm not a perfume person so I didn't buy any, only received free gift by the sales girl :/

There was another christmas market nearby!

Famous German-must-eat-sausage!! The best seller is the herbs flavour. It was really really nice!!!!!!!!

Ham loaf

Robot music player

The other side of the Cathedral! The ground from the left photo was not allowed people to step on it!!! This is because there is a theatre under ground....There were security guard around but they're very patient and friendly. I saw them told ppl nicely the reason not to step on it. Awr.

After the walking tour we keep finding Pork Knuckle!

Bread and Salad is free serving every time we entered any restaurant in Germany. I feel like want to poke when I saw bread because bread everywhere!

Operation of the pork knuuckle hahhahahahah
The pork knuckle cost 14.80 euro which we think its quite reasonable. It was delicious!!!!!!!

It was really impressed when I saw a historic building combined with a modern lighting. Always impressed by every single beautiful thing!

This Christmas tree was awsome!!!!! =DDd

There was only lighting hanging on, there's no roof! That's why the tour guide says we must see the night version of the christmas market!!

Cappuccino wine!

Feels like the whole day I was soaking in beer and wine......
And everyone smells like Sausage hahahhahah

\
I cant believed we were hungry after the market........

Conclusion, Koln is still a nice place to go during christmas. I don't know whether it would be good to go during other period.....
