Me and my friends decided to join the trip organized by our uni since we got no effort to do research by ourselves. We almost half dead only on planning a Germany Trip. Plus language barriers, we couldn't get enough information.
The place we're going including Amsterdam (2days), Koln (2days) and Paris (3days). The total we've paid was 399 pounds (including Visa Tax, Disneyland ticket and Eiffel tower).
Day 1 [15/12] Amsterdam
We meet up at 23.45pm 14/12, depart from Hatfield by Coach. Everybody seems excited and couldn't stop talking. Around 4pm we reached the port of Dover. By then I only knew that we're going to the ferry inside the coach, which means that the we will be using the coach for the entire trip! Cars were queuing up to get on the ferry. It was a very bad weather. :/
The inner part of the ferry
Since this was everyone'e first time of boarding such a long time, everyone feels really unwell. It was really tiring. Plus the weather was not good, the wave are so damn big! We felt like dancing the the board and having a catwalk show on it. HAHHAHAHA
Luckily it was only 2 hours. I would die if more than that. After that we continue our journey by coach. Continue sleeping. Although I've already know that we're gonna spent a lot of time on coach, I still feel ok as the best thing i like is that we no need to worry about everything.
This was the first stop before we reached Amsterdam. Its already part of Holland. But we still don't know which part of Holland we're really in.
After a long time of journey in coach, these colourful things was very tempting!
At afternoon we finally reached Amsterdam!! =))
This is the hotel we staying in Amsterdam. Its small but it has a really good location. Near the Museum square and train station with short walking distance!
This was the room we staying in. Although the bed was small but it is really sufficient for me. After checked-in, we decided to have a walk since we still got plenty of time.
At the back of our hotel was a shopping street full of beanded brands such as Gucci, Prade, Burberry, LV, etc.
Holland's building are all masterpiece and all looks very pretty and nice. That's almost made me crazy as I'm an art lover.
Another famous attraction in Amsterdam is the Van Gogh museum. I feel bad not enough time for me to go in the museum! I only managed to enter the museum shop. =(
The funny thing is that when someone says :eh! got free wifi! then everybody straight away take out their phone to connect. Hahhahahha.
After that we went Diamonds museum. Strange thing is that there was a number of Malaysians working inside!
At night we decided to go to the Red Light District! We've heard that Amsterdam's red light district has became a tourist attraction. Since we have 8 ppl together so we planned to visit there. That area was a very crowded area since a lot of attractions were there. We had no idea how to go but only keep asking people. As there is a famous Sex Museum there, so we keep asking people where is the sex museum. LOL
Finally we reached that area by taking tram. Taking tram is a challenge since they don't speak English!
This is the first Christmas Market we went in our trip. It sells a lot of dessert such as Dutch Donut, Chi-Chi, Sausages, Burger, etc..........
The Sex Museum is located along the Christmas Street. It looks not very big but it has a lot of stairs inside.
There was a lot of plastic model inside naked, a lot of photos, and also History of sex. LOL
This women was a German spy if not mistaken
The story of her affair between two men was stated beside.
These are the 'lock' for woman where the husband want to avoid his wife to having an adultery. There's a lock and key.
The way how they filming an adult movie.
Thinking of what to post and what not to post is really difficult since this museum was full of reproductory organs. HAHHAHAHHAH
I really never imagine that we've could have done so many thing in only Day 1!! HAHAHHA
Tired but really happy and enjoy.
