Euro Trip Day 2: Amsterdam

The second morning we woke up damn early for the breakfast and prepare fro the walking tour. The hotel served breakfast  but its just ordinary breakfast like bread, ham, eggs and juices.

 Then we meet up with the tour guides and we split into 2 groups. The tour guide bring us walk around that area. We don't need to travel by public transport as our location already has lots of attractions.

The picture above is a famous 'coffee shop' in Amsterdam. There was a sign wrote 'Police Station' and there is a Christmas tree blocking it. This means that 'no police here' HAHAHA. Amsterdam has a unique law which is possession of some drugs below 30g is LEGAL. The tour guide told us that this is because too many illegal act happened and the only way is to legalise. Such a weird rule. This made Amsterdam does not has a very strict rule. 

'Coffee shops' sells drug. So people has to be very careful before entrering any coffee shop. Once you've ordered your normal coffee, they will ask you whether you want any extra things. Such as 'Space cake' which contains drugs.

The houses in Ams was leaning together this is because their soil. Beforetime their houses was made by wood, and there was an accident where 2 city burnt down in the past. This made the soil underground has a layer of decomposed wood, and that's why the soil was not very compact. They cant build their house more than 4 levels. The buildings are not very upright. Sometimes it is very obvious that they leaning to a direction.

There was 3 major canal in Amsterdam. The tour guide brought us to look at the canal one by one. This made Amsterdam also famous with their Canal Cruises.

Another attraction in Ams is Tulip. However unfortunately there was no tulip to see during this time. TOO BAD! I was looking forward to see flower sea of Tulip! We only managed to see the flower market. No flower but they sells a lot of flower bud where you can plant it yourself.

Ams also famous with their cheese.

Amsterdam was one of the biggest Gay capital however they moved to Koln. But Ams still remain as one of the biggest gay capital. The rainbow flags represent Gay Bar.

At night we visited the Tourture Museum.

 

It was not very worth since there were only some pictures and methods to torture. I was expecting more.

Lastly, Amsterdam really bring me the good memory (except for being scold as bitch by bitch).It's a very beautiful town. I love the decorations and the Christmas market, but I don't think it will be really attract me for the times other than christmas.
