After exam, our first trip is to Spain-- Madrid and Barcelona!!
We stayed 2 nights in Madrid and 4 nights in Barcelona.
Madrid
Madrid is the capital of Spain where I first though was Barcelona. There a several beautiful and dreamy palace, cathedral and football stadium.

Accommodation
We stayed in Hostal Helena 2 (Note that the Hostal Helena 1 is in the same block too)
We spent a total of 107.88 pounds (127 euro) for 2 nights. As we have 5 people, so it is cheap for us.
It is located beside the Metro Station : Callao (pronounce as Kayao). With a short walking distance, you can reach a tourist attraction: Plaza Mayor which is surrounded by many shops. It is a cheap hostel with a great location, however, as 5 people staying in the same room, so it would not really suitable for people who needs privacy. (For students, privacy=money hahaha I prefer saving moneys to shopping so it's fine for me although sharing a toilet which means that we have to wake up earlier and queue for the toilet)

Bull Fight in Madrid
Although I am not fancy about Bull Fight, surprisingly we've got a chance for watching it once in our life. Bull Fight has been abolished in Spain and Madrid is the only place which still can watch it. The place we went is the Plaza de Toros Monumental which could be reached by Metro, to the Ventas station.
We're 'lucky' enough because the Bull Fight festival has just started few days ago, so the bull fight will be held everyday from 2/May to 8/June.
There will be a lot of little store (pondok) outside the monumental selling the tickets and also there will be a lot of people selling their tickets by walking here and there. As we're confuse whether to buy from those walking here and there (looks unsecure), we asked the seller from stores, and they (seems like) not encourage us to buy from them. So to secure your seat/ticket, better to buy official ticket for the stores. Prices differ on different seat location. We get each person for 22 euro and sit in the middle. (The day before we went there and gave up because they sell for 65 euro one person. Beware.)
Seriously majority of the audience were senior citizen -.-
People, people, people everywhere....................................
Some sort of opening ceremony before the bull fight.
Seriously Bull Fight is cruel. Before that, I only knew that there is a sort of game named 'bull fight' but I don't know what is the ending and how they end the fight. Now I only knew that only when the bull is died and then the fight is over. They use sharp things such as knife, swords, to provoke the bull. Bloods everywhere. Bull's and horse's. Feel pity for the animals.
When the bull died, there are two people rides on two horses and drag the bull out. It done in few seconds.
We bought tickets for Single show and when the first bull died, we planned to leave by standing out. But the staffs asked us to sit down and the second show started at this time---- another bull came out. As we already standing at the stairs, so no choice but to sit on the stairs and continue watching the 'show'. Other people might have though that we feel that it's cruel and that's why we're leaving.
The bull of the second show is stronger and bigger!
I can't say that I 'satisfied' with the outcome since it is very cruel. No wonder it has been abolished in other places.
