And yeah this is the first time I saw a real badminton match!
Our first goal was actually to see Lindan..... but too bad, he didn't come to the competition due to his schedule problem. Nevermind, we still have our hero: Datuk Lee!
Booking a train ticket to Birmingham is kinda tired as this is the first time I tried to book ticket online. There are a lot of websites for booking the ticket, with a slightly different price on the ticket. So we're kinda refresh refresh and refresh..... as the price is kinda unstable -_- and sometimes First class ticket is cheaper than the standard seat.
First class coach provide one box of snacks and one drink. Foods differ at different hour. We hop on during afternoon, so only can get a box of snacks which contains cheese, crackers, biscuits, and jelly beans.
We book a studio apartment which we think is worth and more convenient for us.
And it is comfortable for us as the location is near the station and also several shopping mall, and we just need to walk 10 mins to the All England competition venue!
All England 2014 was run in The National Indoor Arena of Birmingham.
Players from Japan. We saw them at the day before the final. They're soooo handsome <3 LOL
I was like whaaaaaaaaaattttt when i saw them and my reflex action was not allowed me to handshake with them. hmmmmm
All the match was fantastic. As this was the first time i watching it live, I can't breathe. Very nervous. There were a lot of Indonesians there to support their players and they also support Malaysia too! It's very silence during the match and during Datuk Lee's match, everyone lagi ganzhong. Can suddenly heard ppl shout 'Tak bagi!' 'Dua lagi!' 'Satu lagi!' It's kinda funny but feeling proud during his match because almost whole stadium fill with voices to support Malaysia!
Chen Long is actually funny. He has a lot of gesture when camera facing him or during rest. Hahahaaa
At last, Datuk Lee won the match during the second round. Fantastic. Actually the day before is the accident of MH370. The organizer did ask us to pray for a while. And surprisingly there is someone holding a big big poster of MAS's logo.......hmmmmmm
