Buckingham Palace (25/9)

In London, the first place we wanna go is Buckingham Palace!!!!

You can travel there by underground. We go to Hatfield Railway Station, buy ticket to London.

We have 5 persons, so we bought ONE group travelcard (4 person to 2 person's prices) , and one normal travelcard with 16-25 discount.

By travelcard, one person is 9.25 pounds, whereas by 16-25card, the price will be 11.55 pounds. (the original price is 17 pounds)

When we reached London King's Cross by train, we need to travel by Underground, via Victoria Line to the Victoria Station. It is not that difficult because you can just follow the sign!!!

However, I discovered that it would be easier for you if you get down from the Green Park Station.

When you walked out from the Green Park Station, there is a clear sign to show you which direction is the Buckingham Palace. Whereas for the Victoria Station, you won't see any sign and you only could know it by asking the information counter. Via Green Park, you walk along the park and via victoria station, you walk along the roadside and need to pass a number of traffic light.

You may buy the ticket online.(which they prefer you to do so) But we went there without any reservation and hoping we can get the ticket by luck -____-

There are crowded of people although it's already passed the changing of the guards.

There are 3 types of ticket:

State Rooms (student for 17.50)
State Rooms and Garden Tour (student for 25.50)
Royal Day out (State Rooms, Queen's Gallery, Royal Mews) (student for 30.50)
Students must show a valid student ID.

We reached there afternoon, so we only decided to enter the State Rooms.

They divided the tour group by time.

It's too bad that we cannot take photo inside! They were just so fantastic! I fall in love with the Queen's coronation crown! Damnnnnn niceeee

We missed the guard's changing! I heard that its not everyday......

The gift shop sells a lot of official souvenir and I bought some of it. They're damn nice to look at it but the prices are really expensive. I prefer to buy Tea or Biscuit with their container, which are around 7 pounds, you may eat/drink and keep the container. I also bought some magnet and postcards.

The shops outside Buckingham Palace did sells postcard in a cheaper price (10 for 1 pound) BUT they won't sell any postcards relates to Buckingham Palace. They only sell 'I love London' 'London Tower' etc etc post cards where you may find it all over London. The official postcards was around 3.95 pounds for 1 pack (with 10 inside).

Hers's the place where you stamp your ticket to become a one year pass. Which mean you will have a free access in one year by using your pass.

Outside the palace

There's a lot of attractions in the place but we were running out of time to really go to all place plus we didn't really do enough research to travel all the place.
