Arrived UK--Railcard Student Discount

If you love travel, then you might apply the '16-25 Railcard' .  (Yea that's the name)

By using the discount card, you could get a 1/3 discount. It really helps a lot!

You could get the form from the station (or online), fill it up, attach with one passport photo, and remember to bring your passport and 30 pounds! And for mature entry students, you need to head back to your school to get stamped.

It looks like this;

And when you travelling, you mush aware that whether it is a peak time or off peak because the prices may vary!

Besides, I advise to buy a Travel card;

The price shown is after discount. One day pass for Zone1 to Zone6, which is a really big area. You could go wherever you want as long as it is still within zone 6.

Another great deal is to travel in a group of 4 person and get a cheaper discount! I remembered my friend's ticket are only 9 pounds plus when they travel 4 together. But you must make sure that you 4 are travel together.

This card could be used for Trains and Undergrounds.

It could not be used for buses.

For buses, a one year pass is 300 pounds, which is veryyyyyyyyyyyyy expensive so I didn't apply it.

You could get discount when you show your student ID to the bus driver for purchasing that way and also RETURN ticket. There is no discount for single trip :(
