London Eye

Talking about London's attraction, London Eye is one of it.

I really don't know how to describe my feeling. You just queue into a capsule with around 15 people and sit inside or walk around in the capsule to take photo. That's all. May be I've seen London's view enough and perhaps that's why I don't feel the excitement. Yes London's night view is beautiful. But that's all.

Looking out from the capsule. Down there is a screen which can explain to you about the London Eye.

Therefore the truth is,
If you don't go, you will definitely keep thinking of it and regret;
If you go, you will dissappointed.

London Countdown 2013-2014

Counting down in London is really happening and tired!!!!

My friend shared for me the 2013 version and I was tempted by it in few minutes!!!!

BUT the truth is, you have to reach early and stand there for 6 hours because there were too many people and the policemen started to close and block the road around 7pm. If you want a nice view, you have to reach there early.

Normally people will gathered at Westminster, which is the place after you walk out from the Westminster Underground Station. Oh ya, the station and all the toilets will close at a certain time.

One of the good things is that the shops beside London Eye will still open and you may find toilets in it. There are MCD, Bar, Nero(not sure)..... Of course, people are also gathered around this area, so really need to get ready before you decided to countdown in London!

Other places like Trafalgar Square etc will also showing live version of the fireworks.

I was cheated by the picture above where I thought Big Ben will also playing fireworks but they're not. Only London Eye did.

Starring at London Eye for 6 hours made me took a lot of photo of London Eye in different colors :/

The organizer will give everyone a pack of goodies of course of can get it before it was out of stock. The special of 2013-2014 countdown is that the scented fireworks such as banana, strawberry etc. The pack of goodies contained one pack of gummy pastiles which represent the smells and a torched watch? which will glow according to the organizer's order:

Unfortunately it was raining and I can't really smells the fireworks. I sensed a little bit of it but I'm not sure about it whether it was really the scent or just someone's perfume -.-
And it was raining and lots of people using umbrella. Although some did realised that it will block up people's view and they close it during the countdown but some people really thick face and still open it!
Argh

Guess the last photo is the best photo I've taken. After count down, the first thing happened to me was molested by an old man WTF he stick on my back and his whole body was sticked on my back including his thing wtfffff
I realised at the first moment because he doesn't need to stick on me even if he want to take photo because most of the people were leaving and there were a lots of empty space beside the bridge!!
Damn that's really disgusting!

The place became disaster after the count down because
1. Full of garbage. Every steps you will steps on rubbish. Glass bottles, plastic bags, food,......

2. Full of drunk people. They start created chaos by beating people, talk to you, asking where you going, asking whether you need them to take photo...( yeah we all know you're doomed if you passed them your camera) Even though you don't know whether they're asking you friendly or with other intention. So must be very careful. Everyone is HIGH, like festival, just wanna celebrate!

3. Underground. Damn. Everyone wanna go home. Millions of people. How? The Westminster Station CLOSED down and will not open even after the countdown. People walk to the nearest station, the Waterloo Station. Yeah just imagine millions of people using underground and crowded like hellllll!!!!! We have no choice but walk to a farer station: London Bridge Station. Luckily there wasn't much people heading to the station. Everyone just crowd in Waterloo station.
Although these pictures were not taken on the day, but more or less the crowdedness is the same.
